According to Atari and Cryptic there will be a possible release date for the franchise game Star Trek Online, on February 2 2010 and will be released in North America, Europe has to wait for a few months.
Star trek online will be the first MMORPG of this franschise and as the story goes it will be settled in the year 2409 Approximately 30 years after the events in Star Trek Nemesis. Players will be the Captain of their choicen starship as to federation, Vulcan, Andorian, Klingon, Orion, Gorn, and several others but they can also build their own race with the help of an in build tool for creating their character and attributes.
And even can they play togheter online to fight of alien or play against clans, but also the player has a selection to select an away team on planet missions as they will also have to fight to make the mission a success.
even tough the project started a long time ago, but the wait will be worth it.
